Why PractAus was created

PractAus provides structured training and guidance in governance, ethics, compliance, risk and business operations for psychology services. It is designed to support psychologists, practices and organisations to meet professional standards, reduce risk and operate effectively.
Psychologists and services are increasingly required to navigate complex ethical, regulatory and operational demands. While training often focuses on theory, there is a clear need for practical, applied guidance that supports real-world decision-making.

PractAus was developed to address this gap — bringing together expertise in psychology, governance and business to provide clear, structured support in the areas that matter most.
